Introduction

ASML US brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world’s leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon.

Job Mission

“Manage and keep track on complex field upgrades and activities, enabling the field teams to unlock the potential of ASML products for our customers”.

As a Generalist you are the first point of contact for technical support for Upgrades of ASML Systems in the field. You are responsible for identifying, documenting and driving improvements in order to reduce upgrade cycle time. You will do this by analyzing the technical feedback given during the preparation phase and by driving solutions to issues that arise during upgrades. Further, you will create a better future as a “technical conscience” during the New Product Introduction phase of a commercial upgrade package by securing lessons learned to prevent issues from reoccurring on future upgrades. In all situations your first priority is to be an ambassador for safety.

Within ASML the Customer Support (CS) group is responsible for the maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of ASML systems at customer locations. One of the departments in this group is CS NXE Upgrades/Install. This organization prepares and executes complex upgrades such as commercial upgrades and field swaps and “bring to spec packages”.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with applicants who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
