Mechatronics Training Instructor

Your working environment

In our "Research & Technology" division, you will be conducting research in an industrial environment, which will include the basic principles for developing new components as well as the measuring and production technologies needed for the production processes. You will be working in interdisciplinary teams, have access to modern equipment and research laboratories and cooperate with institutes and universities. You will develop concepts for the next generations of our key components and work on making them real using new technologies. To do this, we are growing rapidly and are looking for new talent to join us in pushing technology to new frontiers.

Your tasks

  • Teaching skills and knowledge in accordance with the training curriculum and company-specific objectives for the profession of mechatronics technician
  • Technical, disciplinary and organizational management/ supervision of the trainees
  • Training in in-house machines and equipment
  • Training in ASML-specific materials and tasks
  • Cooperation and coordination with the other technical training courses in the company
  • Supervision of the facilities/ equipment/ plants assigned to the training program
  • Planning of the training and content design within the framework of the framework curricula
  • Handling and processing of organizational matters within ASML and with external bodies such as the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, ABB
  • Preparation of trainees for the intermediate and final examinations
  • Teaching technical, methodological and social skills
  • Performance appraisal of the trainees
  • Responsibility for the "hiring process" of new applicants in cooperation with the training manager, HR and PR department
  • Maintaining contact with:
                - Chamber of Industry and Commerce (training advisors),
                - Vocational school (teachers),
                - Parents (legal guardians),
                - Employment agency (vocational counselors)
  • Participation in trade fairs
  • Participation in representative events in schools
  • Supervision of student interns
  • Cooperation with the Production department

Your qualifications

  • Successfully completed apprenticeship, with further training as an electrical engineering technician - or master craftsman training in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering or similar technically relevant areas and corresponding many years of experience in a relevant field
  • If possible, already completed training instructor aptitude test/ AEVO certificate (further training through ASML possible)
  • Sound knowledge in the set-up and maintenance of conventional and CNC-controlled processing machines
  • Sound knowledge in the field of automation technology
