Job Mission

In order to stay competitive and continue to be able to deliver to our customers, ASML Supply Chain Management continuously needs to further professionalize its operation. One of the large challenges for the coming years is the standardization of the processes with which we run our (over 50) warehouses worldwide. To facilitate the standardization we will develop and implement an interface with our logistic service providers to connect our ERP system (SAP) with the warehouse management system (WMS) from the logistic service providers. This new set up requires a new role in our organization to ensure the inventory levels between ASML and the logistic service providers are in sync.

You will join our diverse warehousing team on this mission, you have the drive, cross departmental communication skills and persistence to help us to make this a success. The warehousing team is based at ASML’s headquarters in Veldhoven, the Netherlands. The new set up requires however support in all time zones. Your basis will be in Chandler, US where other US based Supply Chain Management colleagues are.

Job Description

As an inventory controller your main responsibility is to keep the stock levels in our ERP system in sync with the stock levels in the WMS. This requires extensive knowledge of the processes and the IT systems. You will work together with the teams in the local organizations and the logistic service providers to ensure the inventory management processes are executed as designed.

Your responsibilities:

  • Ensure daily stock reports are produced and any discrepancies addressed and resolved.
  • Work closely with the IT support organization, with the local planning teams and with the 3PL.
  • Manage and solve disturbances caused in the logistics processes between and within thewarehouses.
  • Monitor the interface performance and the messages that go through the interface.
  • Manage and control inventory stock counting / inventory accuracy checks across ASML and logistics service providers.

The goal of the warehousing team is to have efficient and cost effective running warehouses. You will be the local US representative of the warehousing team. Next to your main role as inventory controller we will also ask you to pick up tasks and projects together with the warehouses in the US that will improve their performance.


Bachelor in Supply Chain Management, Finance, IT or equivalent experience.


  • 2 to 5 years relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of logistics processes, the IT flow as well as the physical flows in the warehouses.
  • SAP and Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Fluent in English; additional Asian languages are a plus.
  • Relevant IT skills in MS Office applications, ERP systems, WMS applications and interface connections.
  • IT professionals with experience in logistics and operations are also welcome to apply.
