The Wafer Metrology and Reticle group provides metrology ecosystem for ASML patterning solutions. We define and drive metrology performance requirements and capabilities. We enable scanner qualification and application development. We provide out of the box metrology solutions for the challenging needs of ASML and its customers.

Job Mission

You will perform CD (critical dimension) and overlay measurements on YieldStar, create the metrology recipes, and take part in the test design on the requests of different ASML projects, particularly for CD control as a part of the imaging performance test for scanner qualification.

Job Description

ASML scanners are qualified before shipment and after install at our customers. CD measurements are used for scanner qualification as a part of ATP test, and for scanner prediction (for specific customer use cases).
As our team plays an important role in the test design and execution, the member of metrology team shall be able to:

  • Understand the required data that needs to be measured and monitored
  • Help in defining and reviewing the test plan
  • Provide input for reticles and test design improvement
  • Find best means and methods to do measurements
  • Perform measurements and report results
  • Transfer tests to production
  • Operate measurements of reticles on reticle YieldStar and provide reports


Technical MSc, BSc in physics or similar


  • Experience in the high tech industry (semiconductor) is a pre
  • Experience/knowledge in Data analysis is a pre
  • Experience/knowledge in Matlab is a pre
