Job Mission

This position is based in Design & Engineering sector in Silicon Valley, California. The scope of the work includes management of Design & Engineering Industrial Spaces including but not limited to: expansion projects, work center (assembly area) layout, updates to existing layout drawings, ad hoc issue resolution, work preparation, facility supporting, structural improvement projects related to the Silicon Valley Campus Industrial Space.

This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Job Description

- Coordination of End User requirements to facilities team for new facility expansion/relocation projects and D&E cleanroom & lab changes.
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders in a broad range of levels (D&E area owner, Program, EHS, logistics, vendors and contractors).
- D&E liaison towards Company EHS.
- Manage deliverables of facilities projects: scope includes expansion, relocation, re-arrangement of existing D&E cleanroom & lab spaces.
- Facilitate audit of 5S+1 program within all D&E industrial spaces.
- Compile and advise on Silicon Valley campus facility requirements of new and existing projects (utilities including water, gases, electrical, exhaust).
- Build-up and maintain state-of-art knowledge in the field of ASML cleanroom contamination control technology, and implement contamination control competence.
- Gain familiarity with best practices of cleanroom design and concepts.
- Update and maintain 2D CAD files of D&E industrial space layouts (workbench, tooling, equipment, assembly spaces).
- Documentation of D&E cleanroom and lab construction requirements (creation and updates).
- Facilitate the generation of D&E work permit


Bachelor or associate degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or related engineering, or equivalent experience.


- Minimum 3+ years of related experience with cleanrooms and facility projects.
- Experience with working in a manufacturing/operational environment in Electronics / Mechanics industry.
- Experience in semiconductors or particle-sensitive preferred.
- Experience in facility management preferred.
- Experience in project management preferred.
- Experience with executing audits or assessments preferred.
- Knowledge of cleanroom technology.
- Knowledge of clean way of working and clean production processes.
- Knowledge of 5S+1 preferred.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Takes initiative, task-oriented, pro-active mindset.
- Quality driven.

- The employee is required to work in a cleanroom environment: full gowning (full body coveralls, hood, CR safety shoes, face mask, nitrile gloves and safety glasses).
- Operating/working around overhead cranes, fork trucks and motorized pallet movers.
- Working around lasers; working around chemicals; working with ladders; and working on platforms.
- The employee is occasionally required to move around the campus.
- The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- The environment generally is moderate in temperature with moderate to high noise level.
- May require travel dependent on company needs.
