Weare seeking highly talented individuals to join our innovative team of engineers and business professionals to accelerate our leadership in delivering Lithography-Driven Design and Manufacturing solutions to our customers.ASMLis the worldwide leader in computational lithography for integrated circuit Lithography-Driven Design and Manufacturing™. The Product engineer will bethe bridge between product and customer applications. Product engineer owns application technical spec requirements for new product, best practice development for standard or customized applications.
This position is specifically for scanner lens heating control and scanner performance monitor applications. Interact with customers to gain understanding of their technical requirements and effectively translate these requirements into new product capabilities. Conduct new product feasibility studies. Perform acceptance tests and documentation of the new products.
Technical support to ASMLon-site customer support team and be responsible for new product introductions. Collect proof book data by working with customers, and determine best practices for the products.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, a Semi-Conductor related field, or equivalent experience is required.
- Knowledge of Optical physics (especially Fourier optics, EM theory)
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing mask, optical, resist and etch processes
- Experience with lithography, simulation tools required
- Experience with scanners and metrology tools, or IC manufacturing process is a plus
- Basic programming skills– e.g. Matlab or python
- Ability to work independently and also effectively as a member of a team
- Strong customer focus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in a multi-cultural environment
- Creative problem solving skills
- Quick learner

This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings.
