  • Be the quality business partner to the US Customer Support and Sales organization.

Job Description

  • Drive for customer satisfaction and customer trust by:
    • Customer engagement and intimacy on quality to understand the needs and be pro-active.
    • Manage parts quality, service execution, factory and supply chain improvement programs together with the Business Lines and multiple sectors .
    • Be the voice of the customer on quality towards ASML US organization and towards ASML headquarters.
  • Manage Customer Quality Notifications:
    • Local intake & filtering
    • Manage proper follow-up through Customer Quality Care team
    • Manage timely closure of CQN with customer
  • Setup and maintain customer quality dashboard:
    • Align with customer on Customer Quality Indicators (CQI’s)
    • Secure buy-in from ASML headquarters in case required
    • Drive CQI performance to agreed targets
    • Manage Customer audits
    • Align with customer on audit agenda
    • Work with GQ audit team on follow-up
    • Business partner for the CS VP and the Hillsboro senior leadership team
    • Assess and improve local processes
    • Assist local management by proposing process improvements and participate in deployment of new and improved processes
    • Assist in driving resolution of structural quality issues within our corporate programs, e.g. parts quality, service execution, supplier quality performance and identify the leading key performance indicators
    • Manage a team of Zone Quality Managers in the US and Europe to ensure customer satisfaction and trust.
    • Link the ASML quality roadmap to customer quality roadmap
    • Be the quality ambassador for ASML US and Europe.

Education

  • Master’s degree with extensive years of relevant experience

Experience

  • Experience in the semiconductor business, preferable with technical knowledge of EUV, DUV and APPS.
  • Experience in Professional Field Service Operations
  • Experience in Quality management systems and methodologies within a high tech B2B environment

Context of the position

In Global Quality, the Customer Focus (CF) department is responsible for bringing the voice of the customer to our head-quarter, and for securing the right follow-up. To enable this, the CF department consists of a network of Zone Quality Managers (ZQM’s) located near our key customers, and a Customer Quality Care team, in charge of following up on Customer Quality Notifications (customer complaints).

The vision of the sector Global Quality is 3-fold:

  • Secure customer satisfaction and customer trust on quality by being guided by the voice of the customer, delivering the perfect machine, on time, and at the right cost of ownership.
  • Secure a quality mindset for all employees by defining and embedding quality values.
  • Secure continuous improvement by learning from quality Issues and by providing structural solutions.

Position in the organization:

  • Sr. Quality Manager US, located in Hillsboro, Oregon.
  • Expected travel around 20%.
  • Reports hierarchically to the Sr. Director GQ Customer Focus and operationally, dotted line, to the VP Field Operations US.
  • Manages a team of ZQM’s in the US and Europe.
