Job Mission
ASML is hiring students for summer internship to study and analyze the effectiveness of using geometric pattern characteristics for pattern grouping/ranking/filtering. The ideal candidate willPropose, design, and experiment with geometric pattern characterization metrics and methods. Implement automated scripts or software programs that extract pattern characteristics from a given pool of patterns.
Job Description
- Understanding the pattern technology domain background and the related semiconductor industry applications
- Gaining working knowledge in pattern characterization workflow and experience working with real industry data
- Collaborating with people from various teams with different responsibilities (e.g. marketing, product engineering, R&D, QA, etc.)
Education
Student in pursuing advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Applied Physics, or any related engineering or equivalent experiences.
Experience
- Software programming (e.g. Python, C++, etc.)
- Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience in machine learning, clustering, data mining, data analysis, data visualization is a plus
- Knowledge in the semiconductor manufacturing industry is a plus
Personal skills
- Proven problem analyzing and solving skills
- Ability to excel in cross functional, team environment
- Excellent communication skills
Context of the position
This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings.
