Job Description

As Sr. Manager of Strategy Execution for HMI Development and Engineering you are responsible for supporting the strategic decision making of the HMI D&E VP, providing insight from the D&E organization to the D&E management team, and implementing HMI D&E strategies. You will closely collaborate and connect with the HMI D&E management team and its stakeholders. You will get the opportunity to develop yourself and broaden your scope across the clusters and business lines of HMI D&E and ASML. Being close to executives, you will be given the unique opportunity to learn to think and act like one.

Role and responsibilities

Support the HMI D&E Management Team in defining the shortlist of strategic topics for HMI D&E to answer broad business and technology trends (5+ years), prioritize and translate these topics into a roadmap of strategic initiatives.
Develop and set strategic policies that set boundaries and direction to ensure effective realization of general objectives and efficient spend of R&D budget.
Build trust-based relations with executives and senior management across ASML and understand the dynamics between sectors, business lines and individuals.
Frame arguments and facilitate constructive discussions with on the spot problem-solving to enable effective decision making of executives.
Manage strategic initiatives that find and adapt innovative concepts to answer complex, overarching organizational challenges.
Oversee and direct long-term development plans to increase D&E organizational efficiency.
Drive the capacity and capability planning to ensure that D&E holds the right competences in the right number on the right location to realize the deliverables as agreed with the business.
Safeguard the HMI D&E strategic interests with other departments and corporate decision-making bodies (e.g. Executive Committee) across ASML on executive level, manage and deliver the report out of key topics to corporate meetings.
Partner with institutions outside HMI D&E (both within and outside ASML) to derive business- and technology trends and determine the implications on the overall HMI D&E organizational direction and structure.

Education

Bachelor’s of Science degree with 10+ years of relevant work experience.

Experience

Minimum qualifications – the hired candidate must possess all of the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for the position including:
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
Project- and portfolio management experience at the enterprise level
Experience working with a complex stakeholder landscape is preferred (e.g. acting as trusted advisor and thought partner to senior managers and/or executives)
Strong understanding of the KD product development process within ASML
Knowledge/hands-on experience with project management software
Strong English communication skills both written and oral
