Job Mission

Within the In-Device Metrology team, many of software and applications Test scenarios are still executed manually. With increasing amount of features the number of progression and regression test scenarios also increases, leading to more manual effort during test execution. Setting up a Test Automation Framework and automating the Test scenarios will offload software & application teams from manual execution and increase the test execution repeatability and reliability.

Job Description

You will be responsible for automating tests in C# using already developed internal Test Libraries, setup and configure the test environment. For this assignment you are expected to work in collaboration with Software Test & development team. You will need to:

  • Automate existing manual tests in C# using internally built Test Libraries.
  • Setup and configure test environment to automatically trigger and run the tests from Bamboo and Test Street (internal test framework).
  • Write PowerShell scripts to setup the Test Street framework.
  • Write scripts to package required test artifacts and deploy to SUT (System Under Test).
  • Build automated test coverage reports against requirements (requirements traceability).


You are a Bachelor graduate or a Master student in Computer Science, IT, Software engineering or a related discipline. You have experience with programming languages such as C#, Java and scripting languages like PowerShell that supports creating or enhancing automation test scripts. Moreover, you are familiar with CI/CD tools like Bamboo or/and Jenkins. In addition, being familiar with software packaging tools like: MSI Packager or CreateInstall is a plus. You have knowledge of software testing methods (unit, integration, acceptance, etc.) and software testing tools. Having a general understanding of the SDLC, knowledge of Agile/Scrum principles is also a plus. You have the ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team.

Additionally, you have analytical and problem solving skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This is an bachelor graduation or master apprentice internship for 3 days a week with a duration of a minimum 5 months.

Please note that we can only consider students who are enrolled at a school for the entire duration of the internship.
