Are you a Graduate student of a university of applied sciences, technology management? Do you have affinity with high-tech industry and it is easy for you to approach people? Then this internship could be interesting for you!
At ASML, requirements constantly evolve in order to improve the performance of ASML lithography tools. Typically parts are manufactured by suppliers, built into machines in Veldhoven and shipped to customers worldwide. In between the parts are packed and handled by all kind of people/machines and sometimes these valuable parts are damaged during their life-time. This may cause unnecessary machine down times and extra costs.
Your task will be to improve the handling of a specific sensitive part during its life-time by:
- Get familiar with tools that keep track of the parts.
- Analyze all damages of the part due to handling.
- Analyze the different handlings of the part during its life-time.
- Visit all handlers and document their current way of handling the part.
- Report the complete handling during the life-of-a-part.
- Include recommendation for improvements.
You are a Graduate student of a university of applied sciences, technology management (HBO Industrial Engineering). You have affinity with high-tech industry. It is easy for you to approach people. You work in a structured way. Experience with writing reports in English is a nice to have.
This is a graduation internship for 5 days a week with a duration of a minimum 6 months.
Please note that we can only consider students who are enrolled at a school for the entire duration of the internship.
