Looking for the opportunity to grow to a broader engineering role?If so, you will successfully fulfill the position of Configuration Engineer within the DUV System Industrialization Performance group.

Job Mission

By means of SW-HW dependencies drive, assess and release system configurations in their full lifecycle to ensure efficient and effective execution by the sectors.

Job Description

  • You will design and implement algorithms to identify configuration inconsistencies and use these algorithms to shorten cycle time in Factory and Field.
  • You will improve/design a model to describe the configurations and dependencies
  • You will implement real product configuration information in the model
  • You will be responsible for the quality of the model assuring the model meets quality standards
  • You will interact with People from various jobs and backgrounds in ASML: e.g. Development Engineers, Production Engineers, Customer Service Engineers.

Education

Master Degree in a technical area, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Optics/Physics.

Experience

  • More than 2 years’ experience in a multidisciplinary technical environment, preferably development/engineering
  • Broad scope (software, mechanics, electronics, IT infrastructure).
  • Experience working in time and budget driven project environments.
  • Proven ability to deal with formal abstraction (propositional logic, constraint solving)
  • Demonstrate communication skills with peers, input providers and users in x-sectorial environment
  • Track record in understanding of programing concepts, modeling languages (Boolean language), propositional logic
  • Understanding of BOM structures and general understanding of Configuration Management

Context of the position

The DUV System Industrialization department is responsible to integrate and release DUV systems to Factory and Service at the agreed Time to Market with agreed industrialization maturity. Within the department the group Industrialization performance is responsible to predict assess and drive the system industrialization for Availability, Cycle Time and related cost and to manage configuration dependencies for Industrialization. In this role you will work closely together in a small agile organized D&E team together with various Sector representatives and you will report to the Industrialization Performance Group Lead.
