The LCP (Litho. Computing Platform) customer support engineer is responsible for support and maintenance of LCP systems at the customer site by providing technical support , andis responsible for the necessary transfer of knowledge to the customer.

Job Description

  • Represents ASML at the customer’s site in a professional way
  • Takes responsibility for support system performance
  • Performs qualification of software functionality & maintain computing system of LCP
  • Provides technical support on integration of systems, in order to minimize impact on production output
  • Interfaces with internal and external customers on technical issues and improvement proposal
  • Transfers knowledge and trains colleagues on existing and newly introduced products
  • Takes responsibility for implementing these demands in new and existing products and install base.


  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or other relevant major


  • Knowledge of Linux environment
    - Red Hat or Centos
    - Ubuntu
  • Knowledge of VM ware environment
    - Blade Server technology / Cloud computing components
    - Storage solutions
    - Hypervisor & virtual machine operation
  • Script language
    - Shell / Perl / Python / PHP / BASH(*)
  • Understanding Factory automation
    - XML, HTTP, EDI, SECS communication
  • Cloud – preferred
    Knowledge for Cloud Applications and Native Cloud Development
  • Data center – preferred
    Work experience ERP, MES or PLM like Enterprise Applications
