ASML is always searching for brilliant minds. That's why we’re hosting a unique online event from November 19 and 20 2021: the ASML PhD Master Class 2021. This year’s edition we will deliver you a fully virtual experience, showcasing some of the fascinating and extreme technology challenges we’re currently working on at ASML. This year's online edition is intended for PhDs enrolled in a European university.
We invite PhD students and graduates to join a two-day program, with two online sessions per day. We invite you to use your brilliant mind in a team-based workshop aimed at cracking these challenges. You’ll get to know our culture and how we work, and meet PhD peers from all over the world. We’ll also be setting up personal interviews to help you get you acquainted with ASML.
We encourage you to apply if you are enrolled in a European university and ifyou graduated less than a year ago or you are in your final year of your PhD program in one of the fields below.

ASML PhD Master Class Course application process
Applications for the ASML PhD Master Class open in June, and the deadline to apply is August 31. You’ll need to include a resume with your contact details. You may also include your GPA information and publications.
- First selection round
We’ll let you know by September 13 if your resume has been selected. If you are selected to proceed to the second round, we’ll ask you to record and submit a video cover letter (motivation video).
- Second selection round
The technical selection board will review your resume and video. We’ll let you know whether you’ve been selected by mid-October.
