ASML is looking for semiconductor professionals with deep knowledge on process integration, good understanding of etch, deposition, and lithography processes, experience in ASML customer fabs, and a capability to define, design, and drive total system solutions.
Technical Lead – including full ownership of technical scope and accountability for technical results - of Patterning Studies with an ASML partner company (a major deposition and etch tool supplier) with the goal to create new patterning product opportunities for the growing Business Line Applications product portfolio.
Full technical ownership of Patterning Studies with an ASML partner company with high exposure (regular reviews on executive level).
Accountable for technical results and their successful translation into functionalities of ASML patterning products portfolio.
Main Objectives are:
-Requirements Analysis for ASML patterning products
-By understanding main contributors to Edge Placement Error
-By deeper understanding of non-litho processes
System Architecting for ASML patterning products
-By providing feasibility results for new metrology and control concepts
-Support Product System Engineers to create a vision for patterning products realization
Spread Patterning Knowledge within ASML
-Help to build ASML patterning competence (in all sectors and Business Lines)
-ASML-internal “marketing” for patterning study results and patterning solutions
Become a System Engineer
-Generalist instead of a specialist
-Take the broad system perspective
-Define, design and drive total system solutions.
-Master degree with typically 5 to 10 years of working experience
-Or PhD degree with typically 5 to 8 years of working experience
-Deep process integration knowledge (>5 years as process integration module owner in a customer fab, ideally less than 5 years ago)
-Customer fab experience with etch, deposition, and lithography process (ideally several years of experience as process engineer in etch and/or lithography)
-Good understanding of ASML products (Scanner and Applications)
-Manages a large number of technical uncertainties
-Acts as technical leader / coach / consultant
-Acts as an external spokesperson for the organization
-Balances between multi business drivers
-Is responsible for patterning performance of provided new functions
-Delegates extensive and complex tasks within and outside department
-Creates (part of) the business driver roadmap
-Gives input for balancing all business driver roadmaps
-Breaks down complex tool multi business driver level problems
-Looks at problems from different angles, finds multiple solutions to choose from
-Balances multiple tasks
-Defines, plans and prioritizes tasks and follow up on results in complex situations
-Acts as a Project Manager for a team of Architects
-Documents knowledge systematically and in an accessible way.
