Introduction

ASML US brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world’s leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler Arizona, San Jose and San Diego California, Wilton Connecticut, and Hillsboro Oregon.

Job Mission

The mechatronics team owns the functions Wafer Positioning, Wafer Handling, System Dynamics and Magnetic Shielding. It is the Mechatronics teams’ purpose to exchange and position wafers fast, accurately and reliably with respect to the SEM and alignment optics. Our vision is that we provide a full functional wafer flow to enable the advancement of e-beam systems. It is our mission to design, integrate and sustain wafer flow functionality and modules for all e-beam systems, together with our D&E partners M-Infra, E-Infra, Mach-Cond and the System Function architects.
As mechatronics sub-function owner, you will translate function requirements into quantifiable and measurable module specifications and bring the design to a fully operational function or module. You will do this from the required wide multi-disciplinary scope, putting your affinity with mechanics, electronics, software and firmware at your disposal.

This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
