Job Mission

Manage incoming demand from the business line/locals and acts as supply responsible within the Field Material Availability department (FMA) to ensure end-to-end material availability.

Job Description

In this exciting role you will:

- Manage the worldwide availability of your set of tools
- Be at the heart of ASML’s customer supply chain, managing the demand and supply of your tools
- Proactively signal materials in order to prevent they will become critical in availability
- Work closely with many supply chain counterparts, such as Business lines, PLM, OSM, LSM, 3PL, Quality, Field teams and worldwide factories.
- Actively work together with global customer supply chain teams to ensure tools are available to support system installs or upgrades at ASML’s customers.
- Ensure worldwide targets are fulfilled for aftersales support.
- Phase-in new tools in the supply chain (NPI)
- Own one or more team KPI’s, and drive those to success with the team
- Drive structural improvements using the lean methodology within your job scope and beyond.


- BSc or MSc in business administration or supply chain management.


- 2 – 7 years relevant experience in a large international company (industry or consultancy), ideally Supply Chain, Operations or Procurement.

- Good understanding of supply chain management processes with focus on planning

- Experience with an ERP system (ideally SAP) and Excel

- Capable of resolving operational issues with various stakeholders (e.g. production planning) independently

Context of the position

The Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) team is responsible for meeting service level agreements (SLAs) with customers. System downtime costs customers up to a million USD per day so SLAs are extremely tight, with downtime waiting for parts and tools limited to as little as 20 minutes per system per week. CSCM manages such challenges in a global network with thousands of unique spare parts and delivers true customer satisfaction through differentiated and affordable supply chain services. ASML’s aggressive time-to-market strategy and increasing system functionality means machines are often upgraded at the customer during their lifetime. CSCM’s highly educated workforce drives planning and execution of the supply chain aspects of commercial upgrades, field change orders, machine shipments and transfers.
