Job Mission

The primary project of Operational Procurement Intern is TPD (technical product documentation) organization and distribution. This will involve creating a process to efficiently track and move TPD to suppliers and sourcing leads for quoting and technical discussions. The secondary project of Operational Procurement Intern is master data cleansing. This will involve an analysis of current vendor and material master data with identification and correction of outliers.

This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Job Description

  • Work with procurement analyst to development a process for analyzing, correction and improvement of master data integrity.
  • Work with the Tactical Buyers, Sourcing Leads and PLM planners to assess, move, and document TPD distribution.
  • Be open and available for ad-hoc assistance requests regarding the placement of purchase orders and supplier communications.

Education

  • BA, BS or MS student who is majoring with Supply Chain or General Business, Liberal Arts or other relevant field of study is acceptable. Bust be a least a Junior, in your Bachelor's Degree.

Experience

  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office
  • Data Analysis
  • Soft skill requirements (i.e. strong English communication skills – both written and oral)
