Job Mission

The sector Wilton Factory (WF) is responsible for the production of module systems that support the final assembly Veldhoven factories as well as for the customer support sites. Wilton Factory supports modules within the DUV, EUV, and APPS business line product portfolio.

Job Description

As a logistics support analyst, every day is different. One day is devoted by business performance management activities in which you gather information from several data sources such as SAP but also from team managers. You use this information to calculate KPI’s and support Logistics management in their weekly operations and you see how the organization is managed. The next day could be focused on resource management projects and facility industrialization exercises, creating/improving models to evaluate SCM capacity needs across capital, tooling, and FTE.

This role will also encompass a strong focus on setting up and maintaining the inventory management processes for the Wilton factory. This will require working with cross functional groups within the Wilton Factory such as manufacturing and finance to ensure inventory is properly set up and managed in a structured and transparent manner.

The function will have a strong interaction with the SCM Business Transformation and Excellence teams, which are the Core team whose charter includes performance and process management. Expectation is that this role will interact with this team on a regular basis to ensure consistency between initiatives as well as to leverage synergies across ASML teams. This role will be an integral support for the overall Logistics Support teams, providing detail support and expertise in SAP process flows. This role will interact heavily with the logistics support manager, and be responsible for providing him with valuable information and insights into transformative projects Logistics in undertaking.

This job will give you the opportunity to learn how ASML SCM gets managed. You will work directly for the Production Planning & Shared Services Senior manager and his team and ensure that they will get the right data to manage their processesKey Areas of responsibility:

1.) Performance Management:

-Design of performance metrics, such as KPI’s, and performance monitoring tools:

  • Support management in weekly and monthly performance reports.
  • Translate data (from multiple sources and datasets) into information by analysis and give constructive recommendations for improvement based on performance.

-Drive performance management across functions within Production Planning and Shared Services (PP&SS).

  • Work closely with Management team in PP&SS to measure and drive process adherence and improvement across the groups.
  • Collaborate with management team on actions and improvement initiatives for group to implement to ensure consistent process improvement and efficiency.

-Become Wilton SCM Spotfire expert to assist in development of business reports and roll out to teams for understanding underlying data to manage performance of specific team processes.

2) Inventory Management:

Design of processes and reporting to ensure proper tracking and management of inventory across the Wilton factory. Role will be central point of contact for inventory that will work closely with other organizations within the Wilton factory as well as with VHV inventory teams. Intent will be to understand, drive initiatives, and report on progress to senior management in ASML on status of all inventory drivers

  • Lead inventory reduction initiatives across Wilton Factory teams (Logistics, Operations, PE, finance) related to inventory control to understand and eliminate inefficient inventory
  • Drive continuous performance and focus on root cause and corrective actions to close the gap to inventory targets aligned in Target Annual Plan (TAP)
  • Coordinate inventory reporting package and present monthly to Wilton Senior Management team
  • Proactively align with VHV teams on explanations of variances and actions to address performance issues, inclusive of coordinating with BL management and financial control

3) Logistics Support

  • Support Factory logistics support manager across functions underway to industrialize processes for future growth.
  • Provide in depth analyses and recommendations for improvements across specific process flows related to Disturbance management, material flows, and with LEAN improvement programs
  • Create and link improvements towards performance management to drive improvement projects across teams with intent to improve efficiencies within the organization

4) Improvement Projects:

  • Identify and communicate areas of improvement for existing or new processes based on your analysis of data, evaluation of processes and the need for improvements across the organization
  • Create and link improvements towards performance management to drive cross sector improvement projects across teams with intent to improve cost efficiencies within the organization
  • Support or lead implementation of process driven lean improvements within group, inclusive of working to develop Hoshin Kanri projects in alignment with corporate priorities

Work consists of:

  • Preparing and delivering weekly and monthly management reports and presentations
  • Create, maintain and drive KPI Dashboards for entire team structure for PP&SS organization
  • Collaboration with multiple workstreams to continuously track & improve team performance and process adherence
  • Analyze data and draw conclusions, advise SCM senior management of progress of actions to improve performance
  • Continuously improve the quality of reports through collaboration with SCM/operations managers
  • Create & transform detailed SCM information into reportable and presentable summaries for SCM and non-SCM management
  • Working with SAP, Business Intelligence Solution, & Spotfire tools to develop data into actionable information


Bachelor’s degree required.Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience.


  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in factory logistics and/or Business Administration within an operationally oriented organization
  • Experience in international corporations, working with cross-sector organizations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
  • Proficient with SAP and experience with BI systems (i.e. Business Objects)
  • Preferred knowledge and proficiency of Spotfire analysis/reporting tools utilized across ASML
