Job Mission

  • The job mission of Korea Customs Analyst is to supervise KR customs operation and to ensure all the customs related activities compliance in a manner that minimizes exposures and customs duties and reduce customs process time in the supply chain while complying with Korean regulations.

Job Description

  • Manage daily customs operation(import/export) for ASML shipment in compliance with local regulation
  • Coordinate with broker/admin function to deliver the products in a timely manner to customers/warehouse
  • Review monthly broker performance/KPI’s to manage broker activities
  • Ensure daily customs and export control compliance and report risks to manager
  • Identification and management of import requirement for other government agencies as necessary
  • Timely response to internal/external stakeholders inquiry on shipment to Korea and support them
  • General support for customs activities

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in international business, economics, finance or similar field.

Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in a corporate environment.
  • Experience in any of the following is a plus but not required: Import, export, global logistics and internal controls.

  • Detail-oriented, comfortable with data and able to understand complex rules and requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Good written/spoken English
  • Strong sense of responsibility, supportive and open mind

Other information

1 year contract (maternity leave) : no conversion to regular position.
