Job Mission

As Chief Product Owner of metrology, you have opportunity to collaborate with others to design high-quality software that allows fast and efficient delivery of metrology functions. The software metrology groups interact with each other and with the system enhancement software solutions groups on a project basis. These groups are composed of software engineers and architects who design, implement, test and maintain software according to functional specifications.

Your main tasks & responsibilities are:

- End2end responsible for scope of the train, the deliverables related to the (system) function(s) covered by the train
- Implements the Group Roadmapwith focus on the next 2 quarters with a planning horizon: ~1year).
- Joins in solution management with Chief Product Owners (CPO) of other trains to contribute to overall product performance
- Manages triple constraint within the train, deliver input to SF-PCM table for TAP* and Portfolio Management
- Owns, defines, prioritizes and maintains the worklist/backlog of the train
- Manages stakeholder of the Agile Release Train within D&E, Project Leads / Epic Owners, Project Cluster Managers (PCM), and Function Owners
- Ensures the ART Backlog is visible, maintained, prepared and documented
- Has regular alignment with the Project Cluster Managers (PCM), Project Leads / Epic Owners, Function Owners and Architects and representing the customer internally
- Ensures the Product Owners understand the higher level work items and align Product/Team Backlogs to the train overall objectives
- Ensures the entire Agile Release Train understands the context and direction by forming and communicating the train multi-quarter plan
- Determines whether the delivery of ART backlog items are done
- Manage priorities of escalations/interrupts coming during Program Increment (PI) execution via the ART backlog
- Represents the ART in the (System) Function 3inabox meeting
- Reports to D&E line (Group Leader/Department Manager)


You have Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, systems engineering, or equivalent.


- Over 2 years’ experience as a Chief Product Owner and 5 years’ experience as a Product Owner in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Proven track record in managing (multidisciplinary) team deliverables, risks, dependencies (in- and outside the ART), x-sector deliverables, co-developers and suppliers (delivery, time, cost), stakeholders and escalations.
- Slicing the work into smaller valuable pieces in close collaboration with the team.
- Preparing the team backlog for the upcoming Program Increment and sprint and ensures its properly prioritized.
- Quality product wise (acceptance as customer); facilitated the evaluation and acceptance of the sprint deliverables
- A proven track-record in programming languages like C,C++ and Python.
- Experience with software development tools like JIRA, Git, Jenkins.
- Experience with the Agile way of working.
- Experience with Linux.
