Introduction

Data Service Operation(DSO) group conducts analysis, design, evaluation, configuration, testing and implementation of moderately complex business application systems. Working with a variety of individuals at all levels of the business, DSO builds and maintains close relationships to identify and understand business requirements.

Job Mission

To keep data connectivity stable, perform data products beta test and deployment activities, install HW/SW, support Asia Field Team for installation and troubleshooting, provide necessary training for Asia Field Team, and contribute to automated tools development.

Job Description

- Interfaces with the business units, technology teams and support teams for delivery of business application services.
- Responds to the functional business groups to develop detailed understanding of moderately complex application and technology needs.
- Develops requirements specification and solution designs. Facilitates validation of requirements and designs with business and technical staff.
- Provides responsive customer support and coordinates resolution of application systems support issues.
- Evaluates and identifies solutions to technical issues with application systems.
- Creates and maintains consistent and thorough documentation of all requirements, designs, test plans, technical changes and procedures.
- Plans and conducts system testing and provides guidance to users on testing process to facilitate business validation and acceptance of application systems.
- Performs some development activities and report writing.
- Maintains knowledge of overall IT architecture, technical and process standards and methodologies.

Education

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.Master’s degree preferable.

Experience

- General proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience is required.

Personal skills

- Minimum 3 years working in Windows/Linux administrator role or technical support engineer role supporting functional and technical aspects of server and applications. Proficient understanding of the functional capabilities and technical skills in networking.
- Ability to translate, statistically analyze data, and effectively report problems through written and/or graphical formats.
- Strong analytical skills and a understanding of planning, analysis and testing techniques required to support an enterprise business system.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. No difficulty in reading/writing email and documents in English, good listening/speaking preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills, with an advanced understanding of customer relationship building.
- No difficulty in working in the fab.

- Flexibility to travel to other countriesincluding China, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, USA and others with short notice.
