Job Mission

ASML is the market leader in developing photolithography systems for the semiconductor industry. A sub-function inside this sophisticated system is called “Wafer Positioning and Immersion group”, this group ensures the delivery of integrated embedded software solutions. Wafer Positioning within our machines is used to position the wafer table. Over time the wafer table can get contaminated, therefore it also needs to be cleaned using a cleaning stone (wafer table cleaning). The software of these subfunctions needs to be tested. There are autotesters for this which run in a simulated environment. However the test coverage is not known and should be measured to ensure the quality of the developed code.

Job Description

In the internship you will:

  • Get familiar with the ASML software environment.
  • Investigate how code coverage can be measured using the existing wafer table cleaning autotesters.

  • You are bachelor or master student in Software Engineering or similar.
  • You can work independently and have good communication skills.
  • You have an open mind and willing to learn from your colleagues.
