Job Mission

The Dose Control Software group is responsible for making sure that the correct amount of light is delivered to the wafer during each exposure. Your future team writes the software for Dose Control in EUV systems.

Job Description

ASML has a large codebase. To cope with this complexity, many DSLs (Domain Specific Languages), developed in-house, are used to help code generation and to simplify many more tasks. These DSLs also contain valuable information for design documents.

Your assignment is to write a parser for ASML DSLs and source code by using modern methods and to generate UML diagrams from parsed data.

You will work with widely known technologies/methods such as Python, JSON, UML, DSLs, Git, parsing, generating diagrams and documentation from source code.


• You are a Bachelor student with a background in Software Engineering, computer Science or related.
• You are skilled in coding with Python
• You preferably have some background knowledge on parsing, UML, generating documentation from source code.
• You are driven and analytical oriented.
• The English language is required.

This is a Bachelor apprentice or graduation assignment for 5 days a week with a duration of 3 to 6 months. The start date is as of September 2021.

Please note that we can only consider students who are enrolled at a school for the entire duration of the internship.
