Job Mission

The Factory Automation and Factory Integration(FaFi) department is responsible for the interfaces that scanners offer to the outside world, so called system interfaces. Our customer fabs are becoming more complicated every day and data driven decision are used to define business strategies.

Job Description

Create the frontend of the Twinscan Interface Performance Dashboard. This task consists of:

  • Understand the Twinscan system level interfaces and the customer use cases.
  • Understand how the data are collected from all our machines through our BRES system and how they are stored in the ASML central data lake.
  • Create a dashboard where the FaFi key performance parameters are displayed and different views that will help our engineers to perform their analysis are provided.
  • Collaborate with the backend developer and define the interfaces that will provide the necessary information.


  • You are a Bachelor or Master in Computer Science.
  • You have good analytical skills.
  • You have experience with UML and requirements engineering.
  • You have understanding of databases, python, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • You are open minded, willing to learn and play around.
  • You are a team player.

This is a bachelor graduation or master apprentice internship for 5 days a week with a duration of a minimum 6 months. The starting date of this internship is September 1st.

Please note that we can only consider students who are enrolled at a school for the entire duration of the internship.
