ASML IC manufacturing systems on customer locations.

Position in organization:
-The CS Projects & Operations department is part of the CS Japan organization. It provides operational management support to the Japan operation and serves as a backbone of the operation.
-The project team function is to be the interface and bridge between central (VHN) and local operation on the several projects that aim in improving the organization and its performance.
-The project lead/coordinator will be part of a bigger team of members handling nPgP on several areas
-The base work location for this vacancy is either in the ASML Japan Yokkaichi or Hiroshima (Saijo) office, but the support scope is for all ASML Japan operation. Travel (up to 15% of the time) can be part of the job, both within Japan and overseas.
-To lead and manage local or central initiated projects within CS JP organization.
-To bridge the central and local organization on nPgP and support performance and organizational improvements through various projects.
-To identify local needs, structurally organize templates, communicate and work together with central organization towards solutions.
-To deploy projects within the local organization in an effective and structural manner.
-To organize, manage and optimize the projects scopes in a way that will have optimum output with minimum impact in operation.
-Act as the ambassador of local operation towards central organization on projects involved
-Collect and provide the local feedback towards central teams
-Bridge the communication and construct an efficient two way approach.
-Cooperate closely with local operation and deploy the projects in a most efficient way that fits the needs of local operation
Organize and create reports that will sufficiently inform and update the key stakeholders but also the local operation and colleagues
-Travel when necessary and participate actively in the development, improvement and deployment of projects
-Signal potential difficulties and structurally approach towards resolution
-Lead the complete process and progress of a project either local or central
-Understand local operation and translate needs into a new business case that can become a local or global project
Associate, Bachelor, Master degree in an engineering, business management or related field.
Good level of English both verbal and written to communicate effectively with local and overseas staff on a daily basis.
Native level Japanese skills are required.
-Project Lead/ Coordinate experience for 1-2 years as minimum
-Ability to work under pressure, time limits and with peak loads
-Presentation and reporting ability
-Show initiative, take ownership, execute and work independently.
-Strong analytical ability
-Have a flexible and creative mind, able to think out of the box.
-Good communication and customer interfacing skills.
-Able to work with cultural differences, and able to adapt strategies and way of working accordingly.
