Job Mission

ASML Sourcing & Supply Chain (S&SC) is an industry-leading organization, responsible for securing material availability to ASML's factories and customers. Our DNA contains customer focus, concurrent engineering, virtual integration plus the ability to thrive in a volatile market and complex supply chain network.

A part of S&SC sector is S&SC Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) department. The CSCM team is responsible to secure material availability to meet service level agreements (SLAs) with customers. System downtime costs customers up to a million USD per day, so SLAs are extremely tight, with downtime waiting for parts and tools limited to as little as 20 minutes per system per week. CSCM manages such challenges in a global network with thousands of unique spare parts and delivers customer satisfaction through differentiated and affordable logistics services. ASML’s aggressive time-to-market strategy and increasing system functionality means machines are often upgraded at the customer during their lifetime. CSCM’s highly educated workforce drives planning and execution of the logistics aspects of commercial upgrades, field change orders, machine shipments and transfers.

This role will be responsible for the delivery of business applications within CSCM in the areas of automation, advanced analytics and reporting. You will be using state of the art tools such as Spotfire and Celonis Process Mining, as well as advanced supply chain modelling techniques such as the Spare Part Planning and Service Control Tower. This role will closely collaborate with worldwide stakeholders in both Customer Supply Chain executional processes as well as strategic business applications topics.

Job Description

As the Manager of CSCM Service Business Applications, your role includes:

  • Manage teams of enthusiastic young professionals (MSc& PhD), highly skilled in operations management & logistics,business intelligence & analytics, and process automation.
  • Define the Automation and Information landscape androadmap for the customer supply chain.
  • Represent CSCM as board member of projects or programsthat impact CSCM applications and requirements.
  • Align with senior stakeholders in IT, Customer Supportand other S&SC departments.
  • Explore opportunities to innovate the businessapplications landscape by connecting with university research programs,
  • investigating new means & methods, and scanning the market forstate-of-art tooling (together with IT).
  • Own the delivery model and associated prioritizationfor CSCM business applications.
  • Guide the team to translate requirements and developthem into state-of-art applications for CSCM.
  • Be key user for non-standard change, and forautomation, advanced analytics, and business intelligence tools.

    Education

  • Relevant Master degree or higher (e.g. in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, Information Management, or Supply Chain Management)

    Experience

  • 10 years relevant experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Information Management, or Engineering.
  • Experience in leading highly skilled and educated teams of specialists and analysts (Master and PhD level).
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP
  • Experience with using BI tooling such as Spotfire, Power BI, or Tableau is an advantage
  • Experience with process mining, with tools such as ProM, Disco, or Celonis is an advantage
  • Experience with Agile way of working is an advantage
