Job Mission

Within the CSCM organization, the Service management Excellence & ONE department is responsible for
- Delivery of the project roadmap and associated project portfolio mgmt. system
- Delivery of all major Non-Product-related structural improvement projects
- Support of large company wide programs and represent the CSCM organization in such programs

Supporting this mission, you will act as product owner for the development of products within the CSCM priority projects portfolio.

Job Description

Managing the product backlog and guiding the teams, which entails, however is not limited to:
- Creating a thorough understanding of the requirements and the needs of the customers
- Clearly expressing and prioritizing product backlog items to best achieve goals and delivering value
- Balancing ASML priorities on team level: roadmap, program deliverables
- Actively guiding development teams in understanding the items in the product backlog to a level to be able to develop them
- Create and maintain team plans and proactively drive support to realization
- Provide regular updates on the status of your team’s progress to key stakeholders and management
- Quality product wise (acceptance as customer); facilitates the evaluation and acceptance of the sprint deliverables
- Ensures that backlog items have requirements, acceptance criteria and ensures that the scrum team understands them
- Teaming up with other Product Owners to align on priorities of the Agile Release Train (ART) and team backlog
- Prepares the team backlog for the upcoming sprint and ensures it is properly prioritized for the next iterations
- Works with the Chief Product Owner to understand priorities for the next Program Increment (PI), prepares the team backlog for PI planning and breaks down the larger work items into small ones


Relevant Master degree (e.g. Industrial Engineering & Management Science, Business Administration, Supply chain or Engineering)


- Knowledge of/Familiar with Agile, SAFe (5.0), Scrum
- Experience with LEAN methodology
- Very experienced in delivering, processes, and IT solutions
- Experience with 3rd party logistics (3PL’s, including integration of IT systems)
- Preferable prior experience as a formal Product Owner in an agile environment
- Experience with SAP /APO PPDS and ECC are a strong pre

In this position you report to the Manager CSCM SM Excellence & ONE.

The Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) team is responsible for meeting service level agreements (SLAs) with customers. System downtime costs customers up to a million USD per day so SLAs are extremely tight, with downtime waiting for parts and tools limited to as little as 20 minutes per system per week. CSCM manages such challenges in a global network with thousands of unique spare parts and delivers true customer satisfaction through differentiated and affordable logistics services.
