Multi electron beam Inspection tools are part of ASML’s holistic lithography portfolio. ASML has an Electron Optical competence center in Delft with multi-disciplinary teams where we have combine Research with Development & Engineering.

Job Mission

Our department delivers multiple modules for a multi electron beam microscope system, including the software components. Your mission is to find software engineering solutions to make possible our roadmap of ever more productive inspection equipment.

Job Description

As a software design engineer you will:
-Create detailed software designs compliant to requirements and architectural guidelines.
-Implement these designs in C# or Python
-Verify and validate your own or other engineers implementations
-Participate in team planning sessions

Education

Master in Software development, physics or engineering, covering structured software development methods in languages like C#, C++, Python.

Experience

Hands on experience in software development in a technical, machine control or industrial environment is a pre.

Personal skills

- A team player with excellent social skills, a pragmatic attitude and a good grasp of the physical reality in which software functions.
- Self-starter and a drive for success.
- Affinity with Agile work methods and ability to respond effectively to change
- Good communication skills and knowledge of English language.
- Capability to understand mathematical background of problems and solutions involving algorithms

Context of the position

ASML’s Development & Engineering (D&E) sector is responsible for the specification, design and realization of all products in the ASML portfolio and has a department in Delft.
Within the D&E sector, our department is responsible for functions, modules, technical competences and qualification tools for inspection equipment, in particular multi-beam electron microscopes.
