Multi e-Beam Inspection tools are part of ASML’s holistic lithography portfolio. ASML has an Electron Optical competence center in Delft, with multi-disciplinary teams, where we combine Research with Development & Engineering and deliver modules and system designs for the Multi e-Beam Inspection products.
As senior design engineer EO you are a key contributor to the design and development of ASML’s Multi e-Beam Inspection equipment. You will define requirements for the system based on your knowledge and experience. You are a leader on content and bring stakeholders together.
As a senior design engineer EO you will be part of a multidisciplinary team in an agile/SAFe environment. You will demonstrate your skills and knowledge in several of the following activities:
-Stakeholder management on technical content.
-Simulations of electron optical designs and tolerance analysis.
-Generation of requirements based on these simulations and analyses.
-Bringing content of different parts of the tool together.
-Active participation in design reviews.
-Solving complex issues on the tool.
-Deliver design documentation.
MSc in Physics or related.
- At least 10 years of relevant working experience.
- Strong, broad background in Physics, especially Electron Optics.
- Experience with ultra-high vacuum, particle contamination and high voltage is an advantage.
- You are a team player and you like to work in a multi-cultural settings.
- You like to work in a dynamic environment and are flexible in picking up different types of work.
- You are goal-oriented and self-initiating
- You are down-to-earth and pragmatic
- You speak and write fluently in English
Context of the position
ASML’s Development & Engineering (D&E) sector is responsible for the specification, design and realization of all products in the ASML portfolio and has a department in Delft.
Within the D&E sector, our department is responsible for functions, modules, technical competences and qualification tools for inspection equipment, in particular multi-beam electron microscopes.
