ASML US brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world’s leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon.

Job Mission

We are looking for hardworking and results-oriented software engineers with a passion for programming and who enjoy leading a dynamic multidisciplinary team responsible for developing the embedded software used to control lithography machines.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Job Description

You will be responsible for the effort estimate and risk assessment with support of software architects. You will be making sure that your team has a valid plan by coordinating with your technical lead. Also, you will lead the implementation and direct the tasks of the team. You are expected to show a strong drive to raise issues you cannot solve yourself and also show strong leadership to make sure the software is delivered on time with high quality.

You will be working closely with the project lead for schedules and with your group lead for resources. The planning must be kept up to date. All this is discussed and reviewed with your group lead. In a matter of days our customers will now be using the software which is expected to not impact their production capacity.
