Job Mission

Your team enables material availability from our suppliers at the right quality and cost for our customers and you will drive timely execution of the Request to Pay process flawlessly and contribute to ASML’s supplier performance.

You will facilitate optimal personal development of all team members and coach them in their short- and long term challenges. Alongside driving the activities of your team you will work closely together with the other managers of SOto actively contribute and further develop our Supplier Operations department roadmap and participate in structural improvement projects further optimizing our processes.

Job Description

- You are responsible for managing a team and drive people and process performance and development and secure continuous service for internal and external customers (eg factories, suppliers, S&SC sectors eg CSCM, SCP, PLM, sourcing leads, category managers, LSM and QSM)
- You will act on operational and tactical level in management teams of the S&SC Management department and drive goals in line with the S&SC vision
- You will coordinate and manage operational annual plans
- You will build and maintain a network of in- and external stakeholders/partners and represent the organization
- You will evaluate organizational design for own functional discipline, (work)processes and systems and initiate and implement changes and improvements
- You coach and continuously develop employees


MSc degree + is a must


- 8-12 years relevant experience in a complex supplier oriented environment
- Knowledge as well as a proven track record of ERP systems preferable SAP, Ariba.
- People management and previous procurement or supply chain management experience is a must
- Excellent social and communication skills and demonstrated ability to coach and develop employees
- Strong data analysis and problem solving abilities
- Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvements methodology

Personal skills

- Leadership skills, drive for results, act under high pressure
- Being self-employed, initiative, pro-active attitude, goal oriented, flexible
- Out of the box thinking and change management skills are essential.
- Obviously, you will need a strong personality that is both flexible on some occasions and firm on others.
- Excellent professional communication in English and Dutch is preferred

Context of the position

Supplier Operations, a department of Sourcing & Supply Chain Operations, represents ASML’s logistics interface to its supply base and is responsible for material availability for ASML’s factories and field. In today’s complex multi-tier supply chains, this is only possible by creating full transparency in the chains and flexibility at suppliers.
The department must handle the increased complexity of ASML’s systems while reducing cost of ownership for customers. To do this, S&SC professionals work with suppliers to continuously reduce cycle time for components, modules and assemblies, increasing supply chain flexibility and create customer value.
