Job Mission

As medior enterprise security architect you will play an integral role in defining and assessing the organization's security strategy, architecture and practices.

Job Description

For this role we are looking for someone that is ready to take their career to next levelwhere they will support the Enterprise Security Architect in translating business objectives and risk management strategies into specific security processes enabled by security technologies and services.

More specifically you support the enterprise security architect in the following activities and functions:

  • Collect and validate information of the different business, IT and security initiatives to create oversight and to understand relationships and dependencies
  • Translate these initiatives into a clear overview
  • Continuously maintain/update this overview and be able to report and present from it
  • Communicate with stakeholders to guide them in their decisions in different projects/initiatives


Master's degree in computer science, information systems, information management, cybersecurity, or a related field.

The following certifications are a plus: CISM, CISSP, CISA, TOGAF, SANS’ GAIC, SCF.


For this role we are looking for someone that may have a Business analyst background with affinity in information Management or IT, an IT Security background or similar. The ideal candidate needs to be looking for an opportunity to become an architect and to broaden their view on how security helps to improve/enable the business. This means someone who can create an oversight of what we have, see common denominators, bring structure and present it in a way that is clear to everyone. Being able to create abstract diagrams and good visualization skills in order to be able to translate them into architectural drawings are very important in this role.

Some of the skills that can help you in this role are:

·Strong conceptual knowledge across the traditional infrastructure security domains,

·Full-stack knowledge of IT Security infrastructure on all technology layers

·Knowledge of IT service management (e.g., ITIL-related disciplines)

·Knowledge of Business Process Management (frameworks)

·Experience designing the deployment of applications and infrastructure into public cloud services.

·Strong conceptual knowledge of security in OT/ICS/IoT environments

·Experience in both the people & processes side of security as well as technology security capabilities

You are familiar/have experience with the following regulations, standards and frameworks:

  • ISO 27001/2
  • NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)
  • ISO 31000
  • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Personal skills

Important for this role is to have good communication skills as you will be in contact with different teams and stakeholders. You need to be comfortable presenting your findings and advising on best course of action.
