Introduction

In this role you will be responsible for defining and driving quality programs as part of the quality roadmap for the sector Development & Engineering (D&E)in ASML. This position requires stakeholder management throughout multiple layers of the organization in order to get quality structurally on the agenda. In other words: Can you implement your vision on quality management, act as business partner for the management team and gradually progress on quality programs ?
This job requires more than excellent quality competences alone, you also need the vision and leadership to inspire, convince and motivate others.

Job Mission

As a Quality Program manager, you will you take responsibility for the definition, alignment and execution of Quality programs in the domain of product development quality competences. This can be done twofold, either by supporting & coaching initiatives driven by others (e.g. Quality Managers) or by leading improvement programs yourself.

Job Description

Activities drill down to:

  • Leading/coordinating the quality strategy cycle in D&E
  • Supporting & coaching the Hoshin Kanri improvement initiatives to reach objectives
  • Being the secretary and delegate-chair of D&E Workgroup Quality, including support in building a strong D&E quality community
  • Program management of one or more quality programs (like DfX, Feedback Loop, risk management and SPC )
  • Deep diving on various quality topics with stakeholders. Challenging issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives, going to the Gemba
  • Coaching of (Green- and Black Belt) projects and training in this domain

Education

  • BSc, MSc or PhD in a technical domain.
  • (Master) Black Belt – certification is a plus

Experience

  • 10+ years of work experience in complex technically driven and international organization(s)
  • Experience in High Capital, Low Volume markets is a plus.
  • Proven track record in building and leading a quality organization and Influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority
  • Proven (senior) quality management skills (e.g. (Lean) Six Sigma, reliability)

Context of the position

Within ASML, the sector Development & Engineering (D&E) is responsible for the specification, design and engineering of the ASML products You will report directly to the D&E Department Manager Robust Design & TTC, part of the Quality and Continuous Improvement Cluster. The primary internal interfaces are Quality Managers in the sector D&E and other sectors, stakeholders in product development teams and other improvement initiatives, as well as stakeholders in D&E management. Otherimportant stakeholders are the quality competence leaders, like the Six Sigma competence leader.

Other information

This position requires access to U.S. controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such U.S. controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with applicants who are immediately eligible to access U.S. controlled technology.
