Job Mission

Capital Equipment
To make sure that ASML Capital equipment and spare partsare shipped on time. This means you are in charge of planning, pre-booking, execution, and following up the shipments with 3PL’s over ocean, land and air. You will perform these activities in cooperation with many internal stakeholders e.g. production planning, sales department and field install teams. You will continuously look for improvements in the shipping process and as such you will also be assigned to project implementation coordinated from ASLM HQ


Spare Parts shipment
Follow up to ongoing shipments and deliver accurate information through standardized communication methods. Provide support to standardize Freight Operation processes, including integration within the IT landscape. Enable and support effective and efficient execution and decision making in cooperation with line management, secure the freight spend according with carrier agreed rates.

Job Description

MainResponsibilities for Capital Equipment
1. Planning:
- Ship/pack planning
- Align shipment with sales, production andsuppliers
- Maintain, monitor, update and communicatethe planning
- Pre-book shipments with 3PL’s, freightforwards and carriers and confirm to all the stakeholders
- Create forecast to suppliers to managecapacity together with other supply chain management departments.
- Manage the import/export customs activitiesto commercial orders included the capital equipment via FTZ (Free Trade Zone).
2. Execution:
- Monitor production / packing progress
- Create and verify alltransportation documentation
- Quality Control.
- Coordinate with every stakeholders andsmooth the import/export customs activities to commercial ordersincluded the capital equipment via FTZ.

Main Responsibilities for Spare partsmanagement
1. Freight OntimeDelivery
- Tracking and troubleshooting of ongoing shipmentsin cooperation with warehouses, forwarders and customs brokers to secureevent communication and on-time delivery.
- Secure the data milestones completeness inthe Transport Management System(TMS) and Freight Reporting.
- Transportation claim management.
- Execute transportation pre-bookings withcarriers and freight forwarders to secure capacity when necessary.
2. FreightBill Auditing/Cost control
- Maintain and update rate cards in transportmanagement system to secure exact match with the transport rateagreements and compare these with the actual freight bills making surethe registration of cost is done correctly.
- Log and follow up disputes with the freightservice providers if mismatches are identified, request and track creditnotes if applicable.
- Run cost simulations on demand keeping trackof these requests.
3. TransportManagement System user support
- Update and Maintain Transport ManagementSystem master data and secure the process of shipment creation by theshipping users as well as monitoring the TMS usage and processadherence.
- First linesupport for requests related to Central Task list shipping requests, andmonitoring the TMS idoc towards SAP.

Education

Bachelor or High School diploma and/or secondary training in logistics, supply chain management, operational management or equivalent 2-5 years of relevant work experience

Experience

- Experience in a challengingenvironment with high tech products and complex processes
- Work experience incross-functional teams
- Intermediate to advance competencies in MS Excel andPowerPoint
- Knowledge of logisticsmanagement systems (ERP), their set-up and application, SAP ECC preferred.
- Work experience using atransport management system (TMS)
- Knowledge of customs import and export regulationsis a plus.
