The sector Manufacturing & Logistics NXE is responsible for the production of scanners as well as for purchasing and logistics. The complete production process of the most advanced machines takes place within this sector. The department Delivery Operations within Manufacturing is responsible for the assembly and classification of the various machines and modules of the ASML systems according to strict quality standards.
Job Description
To adjust, test and deliver ASML products or (sub) systems according to agreed specifications and delivery times. The test technician is responsible for adjusting and testing ASML products and solving problems which may occur whilst maintaining the planned delivery times and quality. Makes suggestions for the improvement of products or production processes with respect to both existing and new products. Lays down product, process and measuring data in protocols and databases. Provides support when new products are introduced into the production process; identifies and reports expected bottlenecks and solves technical problems, if need be in cooperation with other disciplines.
Education
MBO Electronics, applied physics, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace engineering with 5 - 7 years of experience. Or HBO Electronics, applied physics, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace engineering, preferably with 1 - 3 years of experience.
Experience
Hands-on experience in a high-tech production or customer service environment, e.g. electronics, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace engineering; proven affinity with testing / assembling and troubleshooting is essential.

Context of the position
As a System Qualification (SQ) Engineer you are part of a multi-cultural team. Together with 18 colleagues you are responsible for testing, calibration and customizing the EUV machine within a certain timeslot . After completion The EUV machine will be demounted again and shipped to our customers all over the world.
After a decent internal training program, you will be able to execute the job. We expect a high level of self-reliance, able to solve problems by using troubleshooting techniques and follow procedures and action plans.You will be trained as an All-round SQ test engineer
Besides testing we expect a hands-on mentality by solving minor problems, escalating major problems, high quality behavior on shift administration as being part of a continues improvement system to optimize work related processes. Developing your skills is mandatory within the department.
The SQ department is working in a regular 5-shift schedule including night- and weekend shifts.
