Job Mission

Within ASML, the sector Development & Engineering is responsible for the specification, design and engineering of all ASML products.

In this sector, the department Software Infrastructure and Computer Systems and their employees have the mission to define, plan, control and tests products and features to be implemented in the machines we sell to customers.

In this role, you will manage the product backlog based for the software product support for the ASML Scanner and Source platform.

Job Description

You will be the scaled Agile Program Manager for new and changes to existing functionality of our Scanner and Source Platform (operating systems, infrastructure and facilities).

In this role you will be accountable for managing the priority setting over multiple programs and execution of the prioritized backlog.

With a team existing out of a System Architect and a Release Train Engineer you will be accountable for the execution, content and priority of the product support train, containing functionality for manufacturing and customer support and customers to install and update the software product and maintain the computer systems on ASML scanner and source systems.

The train consists of 6 teams with approximately 50 engineers located in Veldhoven and outsourced to Romania and Bulgaria.

Education

Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronics, embedded Systems or related technical fields.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project management in a high-tech, enterprise environment.
  • Experienced in working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Advanced experience in Scaled agile (SAFe) preferably as Product manager
  • A strong background in delivering end-to-end technical solutions to clients.
  • Experience in motivating and driving teams.
  • Broad experience in computer systems and software engineering

Context of the position

As an organization, we need to think ahead, anticipating our customers’ needs when it comes to processing power, operating system functionality, and communication with detectors and sensors. Our department’s challenge is to develop a new computer architecture capable of handling future processing requirements and peripherals.
