Job Mission

The Freight Infrastructure Manager Asia is positioned in the Netherlands and is responsible to a) safeguard On Time Delivery of our products across the network by collaborating with our 3PL’s and the regions with a focus on Asia, b) analyze cost levels in the Asia region and determine and implement improvements, c) drive the compliant usage of our Transport Management System to secure right decision making within our global supply chain. You will do this by a.o. taking responsibility of the supplier management of one of our main freight forwarders and leading a natural team of non-direct reports to deliver transparency and structural improvements to the LSO end-2-end processes.

Job Description

- Ensure ASML products are delivered on time to our customers against agreed SLA’s through regular communication and alignment between our 3PL’s, internal stakeholders and management.
- Act as first level supplier manager for one of our main 3PL’s.
- Act as 2nd line escalation point for operational topics
- Take lead in the LSO ambitions on end-2-end On Time Delivery
- Determine, implement and report on sustainable cost improvements in our transportation network
- Ensure the freight network is correctly reflected, maintained and used in our Transport Management System (TMS) plus act as TMS key-user
- Get a profound understanding of the transportation network and further develop the freight infrastructure from both OTD and cost perspective


- Education level: Master or Bachelor Degree within Supply Chain Management or Engineering


- From 5 to 10 year of experience in complex supply chains.
- Strong Logistics knowledge and experience in Transportation and Transport Management Systems
- Strong analytical skills
- Operational process expert
- Project Management skills e.g. Green Belt or equivalent is a pro
- Office application knowledge

- Profound level of English speaking and writing

Logistics Service Operations(LSO) guarantees the distribution of materials by organizing and operating a logistic network of warehouses, customs and freight. The LSO Freight department is responsible to organize and operate the global logistics network in line with customer requirements. A flawless distribution network is key for a smooth supply chain. Fast and flexible transportation networks, differentiated warehousing solutions and complex value-added services are some characteristics of our landscape in which we need to store and deliver anything from a tiny box to a huge and sensitive system with leading edge technology. Different requirements towards our supply-chain due to development of our systems, the number of upgrades of systems on customer sites and the need for differentiated service level agreements drive the need for a flexible 3PL network of integrators, freight forwarders, customs brokers and warehouses. Focused on the rapid developments a team of highly educated professionals drives the supply chain infrastructure based on market intelligence, innovations, business needs, 3PL performance and process analytics
