Are you a bachelor student with a background in System Administration and Engineering? Are familiar with Docker, Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Python and Postman? Do you also have hands-on experience with most of them? Then this internship could be interesting for you!

Background Information

ASML is the market leader in photolithography systems for the semiconductor industry. Intellectual property of the company is protected with state-of-the-art tooling. At Identity & Access Management (IAM), responsible for related services, we work agile according SAFe5.0 and we want to automate the hell out of it. DevOps and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD pipelines) are driving our ambition to become effective instead of efficient and to enable the business with using our IAM solutions and services. Reducing repetitive and manual work in operation is key. Currently we have a basic CICD implementation based on most of the tools mentioned above. We are continuously looking to improve our implementation and services allowing our business stakeholders to improve further.

Your Assignment

In this internship you will:
• Understand the current CICD framework used within IAM in ASML.
• Propose and build new improvements of the existing pipeline with industry standard practices and input from the team.
• Implement, integrate and deploy improved pipelines in our existing software repositories.

Your Profile

• You are a Bachelor student in Software Development and Engineering.
• You are familiar with Development languages such as Shell Python, Yaml.
• Awareness of tooling and or have hands-on experience with CI/CD, Git, Dockre, Terraform, Gitlab/Jenkins, APIcreation/management.
• You can work independently and you have good communication skills.
• You have an open mind and willing to learn from your colleagues.

Nice to have:
• Basic knowledge of a monitoring tool.
• Basic knowledge of cloud such as Azure and CGP
• Experience automatic resource deployment in the cloud.
• Linux operating systems basics.
• Web developer experience.

This is a Bachelor apprentice internship for 5 days a week with duration of 4-5 months. The start date is in September 2021.

Please note that we can only consider students who are enrolled at a school for the entire duration of the internship.
