Introduction

ASML is an innovation leader in the semiconductor industry. We provide microchip makers with everything they need – hardware, software and services – to mass produce patterns on silicon through lithography.

If you thrive in a high-tech environment and enjoy large scale field-data analysis then you may be the right person to make our customer a little happier. On the one hand you will analyze the field data present in large (unstructured) databases and identify anomalies or improvement areas mainly related to software (SW) execution, which you will discuss with SW Product Architects. On the other hand you will provide insight in field configurations and customer usage in order to answer what-if and how-about questions.

Job Mission

Support the SW Product Architects and the lithography SW development community with insights from diagnostics performance data from the field.

Job Description

You will:

  • define and execute performance queries;
  • perform structured problem analysis;
  • propose a solution underpinned with facts / statistics.

Education

Bsc or Msc in Data Science, Mathematics or Computer Science.

Experience

You have experience with:

  • data analysis tools and techniques;
  • scripting;
  • databases and statistics.

Personal skills

You:

  • are analytical, pragmatic and result driven;
  • have a structured work attitude and are able to prioritize;
  • take initiative;
  • are a fast learner and are efficient;
  • are able to see and propose in different ways.

Context of the position

Within ASML the sector Development & Engineering (D&E) is responsible for the specification, design and implementation of the ASML products. The Litho Systems Software Architecture group in D&E is responsible for the software platform architecture e.g. modularity, patterns, rules and guidelines, as well as the definition of the increments for new products.

As a Software Product Performance Analyst you report to the Manager of the Litho Systems Software Architecture group and as a data miner you will support a group of around 10 Senior SW Product Architects.
