Founded in 1984, ASML is the world's leading provider of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry, manufacturing complex machines that are critical to the production of integrated circuits or chips. ASML has its headquarters in Veldhoven the Netherlands and has R&D and manufacturing operations in North America, Asia and the Netherlands.
The IT division supports information management, infrastructure and automation and optimization of key business processes across ASML. The ICT infrastructure, hardware and applications are absolutely mission-critical for almost all ASML’s internal and external activities.
Currently the ASML IT department is in an Agile Transformation, in which SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework 5.0) will be implemented.

Job Description
This role is situated in the IT Supporting Functions Domain. Our people are proud to be supporting our internal- and external customers with state-of-the-art solutions. Teams are a mixture of young talent and senior specialists with a strong focus on delivering business value for our stakeholders.
The role will be situated within one of the groups below the Agile Coaching Competence Team. This is a team of ~25 internal and external Agile coaches supporting the whole IT organization in their Agile and DevOps transformation.
Your responsibilities
As the Agile Coach inspire and facilitate continuous improvement of the Agile way of working for the groups within your domain.
Skillset: DevOps, Group facilitation, Metrics & trend analysis, Strong motivator, Networking & communication.
A grasp of your responsibilities and deliverables:
As an Agile Coach you have a pivotal role in our Agile transformation. As we are currently transforming into a SAFe organization, we always encounter challenges. As our coach you will ensure that our teams understand and follow our guiderails and ASML frameworks related to our Agile way of working. By facilitating workshops on related topics and individual- & group coaching you will be closely involved in the further improvement of our transformation.
Besides Agile coaching on team level you will focus on coaching Agile leadership, line management and senior management in their roles in the Agile organization. Also supporting management and ART leadership in fine tuning ART and organization design will be part of your responsibilities
Experience
We’re looking for an enabler, a professional who has a strong leadership mentality and can bring right (leadership) coaching capabilities. You are the servant coach who can drive and inspire our leadership into further enhancing and honing Agile Leadership capabilities. You are a natural communicator and are easily able to make the right connection with your stakeholders.
You need to be able to understand team dynamics, group dynamics and are easily able to adjust your coaching style towards your (key) stakeholders. At the same time it is a strong suit when you are able to unconsciously steer your stakeholders towards the continuous improvement mindset.
Summarized:
- At least 10 years’ experience in an international and Agile environment;
- At least 3 years’ experience acting in similar Agile Coaching positions;
- Technically savvy, understanding IT/DevOps in an Agile setting;
- SAFe certified;
- MSc. or BSc. In the area of Information Management or equivalent.
