Job Mission

ASML Research is now looking for an enthusiastic Chemist with a hands on attitude to design, analyze and execute experiments.

Job Description

- Ensure safety protocols are followed in the lab
- Manage chemicals and wastes in a safe and appropriate manner
- Develop and maintain a system for chemicals, purchasing and ordering chemicals
- Conduct routine chemical experiments
- Perform accurate analysis following appropriate Standard Test Methods or Special Instructions and report data in timely manner
- Record experimental data properly
- Maintain and calibrate all equipment timely
- Conduct additional duties as assigned

Education

- Bachelor of Science in chemistry or chemical engineering (Mandatory)

Experience

- More than 5 years of experience working in a chemical lab as a technician (Mandatory)
- Experience with building a lab/re-organizing a lab is a big plus
- Knowledge and experience with ellipsometry, AFM, SEM/EDX, FT-IR, Raman

Context of the position

The position is in the research department of ASML. The task of this department is to identify and fill in the technological gaps in the future roadmap of lithography and the lithography market. We work in relatively small teams and deliver proof of concept solutions that can be transferred to Development and Engineering.

This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
