Job Mission

Provide a proactive follow up “Track and Trace” service on shipments within the ASML supply chain and deliver accurate information through standardized communication methods. Provide first line support for the current TMS system to all relevant stakeholders. Complete Freight Bill Auditing to verify accuracy of supplier billing and ensure proper cost allocations. Support fellow members of the Freight Operations team to standardize processes, including integration within the IT landscape. Assist with and process proper shipment documentation as needed.

Job Description

  • Tracking and troubleshooting of ongoing non CEQ shipments in cooperation with warehouses, forwarders and customs brokers to secure event communication and on-time delivery. This includes imports and export shipments. The future will include a “Follow the Sun” concept to work in partnership with other Freight Operations Analysts throughout the ASML global landscape.
  • Secure data milestones and completeness of the information that is entered in the TMS system. Proactively monitor the manifesting dates/times to ensure OTD accuracy.
  • Update and maintain Transport Management System master data and secure the process of shipment creation by shippers. Monitor TMS usage and process and push for 100% adherence. Provide first line support for requests related to Central Task list shipping requests, and monitor the TMS idoc towards SAP.
  • Maintain and update rate cards in transport management system to secure exact match with the transport rate agreements. Comparisons must be made with the actual freight bills ensuring that the registration of cost is done properly. Help to troubleshoot freight invoice uploads.Active involvement with dispute resolution with freight service providers if mismatches are identified. Request and track mismatches and credit notes if applicable. Run cost simulations as required; maintaining an accurate log for record keeping purposes.
  • For shipments moving directly from the customer site, with no 3PL warehouse involvement, the Freight Analyst will process DwR transactions for shipping invoices via SAP as needed or requested by the ASML Freight Operations Planners. These transactions also include processing the TMS and GBW (Integration Point) for proper export declaration.Run daily OTD reports to be used for deep dives into operational excursions and data misses. Provide reports as deemed necessary by the US Freight Operations Lean Board. Complete any ad hoc TMS reports as needed or requested by ASML Freight Operations Management.
  • Align and collaborate with fellow Freight Operations Team Members in regards to potential freight savings and highlighting a process improvement mindset.


Bachelor or Minimum of a High School diploma or GED required.


  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience in Supply Chain with a background in Transportation.
  • Intermediate to advanced competencies in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of logistics management systems (ERP) and their setup/applications, SAP ECC and transportation management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
