Job Mission

As an ASML CS Business Information Expert you are the subject matter expert on operational and litho system performance information and the central contact for the performance analysts and system developers. You are creating and maintaining reports from our company systems to support ASML and our customer information needs. In this function you are the liaison between the litho system performance analysist and the IT organization.

Job Description

Key Areas of Responsibility (KAR’s)

  • Reporting for the current Performance Management Analysis (PMA) system: Collecting information needs from our stakeholder and translate these in effective reports. Present detailed statistical data analysis on business KPI’s such as system availability.
  • Reporting for the future system (currently in development and will replace the PMA system) to ensure the same reporting quality will be ensured when we migrate our activities.
  • Data quality and reconciliation: Ensure data correctness, completeness, timeliness, integrity (reconciliation rules). Alignments for reconciliation process with field engineers (periodic session).

Education

Bachelor or Master degree in the area of Business Information / Intelligence or relevant technical education.

Experience

5 years or more experience working in a Business Information role

Personal skills

Hard skills:

  • Knowledge of OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligent Enterprise Edition) is required as well as how such systems can connect to other systems (ETL and data warehouses/ERP systems from Oracle and SAP);
  • Knowledge of Hadoop and Azure ETL and reporting systems is a pre as you will transition your activities to the new systems;
  • Experienced in data modelling, data quality and reporting;
  • Knowledge of the semiconductor industry is a pre.
  • Knowledge of unix and perl is nice to have.

  • Capable of dealing with a very broad range of technical subjects;

  • Able to build network cross department & international;
  • Good communicator and team player;
  • Cultural awareness;
  • Excellent English language skills in speech and writing.

Context of the position

The sector Customer Support (CS) is responsible for the maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of ASML systems at customer locations, as well as transferring all relevant knowledge and supporting the customer in the use of these systems in his production process. CS Central takes care that effective support of the customer by local offices is possible by providing knowledge, technical support and process support to the field offices.
Position in the Organization. The CS BI expert reports to the group leader Data Analytics PM Operations
