ASML is an innovation leader in the semiconductor industry. We provide microchip makers with everything they need – hardware, software and services – to mass produce patterns on silicon through lithography.

Within ASML the sector Development & Engineering (D&E) is responsible for the specification and the design of ASML products.
In this sector, the department Software Quality & Integration (SW QI) integrates and qualifies the various software systems into a software release.

Job Mission

Do you want to be challenged to get the availability and usage of the test systems as high as possible? Within the team you should be able to maintain the hardware (HW), troubleshoot issues on the machine and write software (SW) to ensure the developers of ASML can use the systems as efficient as possible.

Job Description

It is expected that you can think and work in terms of:

  • Understand the way our customers use the test systems and support these users;
  • Create and maintain scripts for efficient install and use of test systems;
  • Build up test systems;
  • Ensure the safety at the test systems.


A technical Bachelor or Master degree (Computer Science and/or Electronics are preferred).


You are:

  • part of the support organization;
  • have experience with hardware and software;
  • experienced in Linux, Python and shell scripting;
  • knowledgeable about Agile.

  • Structured and organized.

Context of the position

In this role you are responsible for maintaining the systems (hardware and software) used for testing. You are also responsible to deliver support for the ASML developers for these test systems.

Other information

This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
