As the Community Engagement & Events Specialist in ASML Taiwan, you will help build a culture of volunteerism, engage employees, and strengthen our relationships in the community. You will report to the Head of Asia Communications.

Job Description

At ASML, we support our local communities through education, arts and culture and other outreach activities. You will be responsible for community engagement and events at ASML Taiwan. In close cooperation with the Taiwan/Asia Communications team and the community engagement team at the global headquarters in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, you will lead community sponsorships and employee volunteerism and corporate giving in Taiwan. You will also organize and execute employee appreciation events, with the goal of engaging employees, fostering employee pride and promoting ASML Taiwan as a great place to work. You should possess the skills to be mostly self-sufficient in developing and delivering the program, while being able to draw on the knowledge and experience of the Asia and global Communications teams.

Education

•Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business or other relevant field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
•Master’s degree a plus

Experience

•Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in community relations/philanthropy/event planning in a corporate or non-profit setting
•Minimum of 3 years of experience working in integrated communications teams and large-scale event management
•Experience of working with colleagues across multiple regions/locations is a plus

Context of the position

•Manage ASML Taiwan’s community engagement and employee events program and ensure alignment with corporate goals and policy
•Establish partnerships with local community organizations aligned with the ASML focus areas of STEAM education, environmental issues and underserved communities t and jointly formulate measures to solve the most severe challenges of the community
•Collaborate with Asia and global Communications colleagues, AMSL Foundation and NGO/not-for-profit/charity to promote local philanthropic activities, employee volunteer events and initiatives
•Work closely with internal stakeholders to increase employee’s involvement in community engagement activities
•Plan and execute D&I events designed to engage and foster employee pride
•Responsible for publishing ASML Taiwan’s annual CSR report
•Help build awareness of and support for ASML’s community engagement/philanthropy programs internally and externally
•Other duties as assigned
