This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Job Mission

Internships will be on-site in San Diego, CA and are expected to last 12 weeks during summer 2022 starting 5/16, 5/31, or 6/20

Job Description

  • Work in a team environment alongside local experienced engineers.
  • Specific tasks will be tailored to match the education / experience level of the intern as well as the interns learning objectives for the summer.
  • The project will include some of the following activities:
  • Assist in creating test cases and automated test scripts
  • Assist in creating test strategies to ensure appropriate test coverage.
  • Assist with implementing test plans for software module and/or system level testing
  • Assist in test bench maintenance and support
  • Execute test cases and capture test results
  • Assist in the collection and publication of quality assurance metrics
  • The goal of the internship is for you to learn about working in a corporate setting and to provide hands on experience solving real world problems in a team environment.
  • Interns will typically be required to document and present their findings as well as making an end of summer presentation to the group about what they achieved during their internship.


  • Current active Student in Engineering: working towards a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Ability to program well in Python
  • Ability to translate, statistically analyze data, and effectively report problems through written and/or graphical format.
