This position is within the D&E Department, which is responsible is for the specification, design, implementation, integration and testing of the ASML HMI’s e-beam inspection and metrology products. ASML-HMI Hardware Engineering group in Performance & Integration Department owns the system hardware related performance improvement work of the Scanning Electronic Microscopy (SEM) machines, solve system level performance issues and challenges, verify and optimize machine performance. On this role, the intern will focus on the data processing for model building between the hardware calibration spec value and drift v.s. image level KPIv.s. CD stability. The work scope will be covered in system hardware performance monitoring, hardware evaluation with prediction, and hardware issue diagnostics and performance improvement.
As an Data Process Intern at ASML, you will tackle new and exciting challenges each day, including but not limited:
·Data processing for model building between the hardware calibration spec value and drift v.s. image level KPIv.s. CD stability
·System hardware performance monitoring for data collection
·Hardware evaluation with prediction based on data processing and analysis
·Solving system level hardware issues and challenges, verify and optimize machine performance
BS / MS / PhD in Data engineering or Mechatronics Engineering or Electrical engineering
·Semiconductor machine data process/diagnostics related industrial work experience is preferred
·Relevant work experience on data engineering or related domain engineer in industry
·Strong background on sensor measurement and analysis for mechanical equipment or precision systems
·Good skill of using MATLAB; familiar with Solidworks/NX; FEA skill using ANSYS/COMSOL is a good plus
·Work experience/knowledge in semiconductor equipment is also a plus
·Analytic, abstract thinking, good communication skills, initiative, independent, planning and prioritizing, sharing knowledge, stress tolerance and teamwork.
·Excellent English written and verbal communication and presentation skills
·Ability and willingness to travel internationally up to 10 %.

Context of the position
This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings.
