Job Mission

In the Product Engineering (PEG) team, you will be a key member in developing high-quality software for training data selection for our advanced machine learning applications.During this internship, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging machine learning problems and push the technology boundaries, with guidance from senior members in the team. At the end of the internship, you will give a presentation of your accomplishments, and your work will be evaluated for integration into products. A good candidate should exhibit a good understanding of machine learning approaches and challenges, strong analytic skills, self-motivation and eagerness to collaborate with team members

Job Description

You will investigate solutions to improve accuracy of machine learning models by leveraging recent advances in neural network architectures, collaborating with a cross-functional team of machine learning experts and product experts.

You will have the opportunity to learn about the lithographic challenges and solutions to manufacturing layouts with billions of transistors, each more than a thousand times thinner than a human hair.


PhD., Master’s or Bachelorsstudents in Computer Science, Electric Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. At least one course in machine learning.


  • Proficiency in either Python or R.
  • Experience using TensorFlow, Keras, or similar deep-learning software.

Personal skills

  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm about harnessing the power of machine learning to tackle state-of-the-art challenges.

Context of the position

This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings. The physical demands of the position described herein are essential functions of the job and employees must be able to successfully perform these tasks for extended periods.
