Job Description

ASML is the market leader in developing photolithography systems for the semiconductor industry. A sub-function inside this sophisticated are the optical hardware modules design, which supports the upper level functionality of the system.

The current optical hardware includes imaging, illumination, and sensing modules. The hardware upgrade and the performance improvements are on the way with the system road map and the competence road map.

Education

Master's or Bachelor student in Optics, Physics, Optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electronic Engineering

Experience

In this internship you will:

  • Get familiar with the ASML hardware develop and test environments
  • Be involved in the optical hardware prototyping process
  • Create part of technical performance documents for the optical hardware

Personal skills

  • You will be enrolled at a school during the entire duration of the internship
  • You have first experiences in Zemax, Code V, Solidworks, and NX
  • You can work independently and have good communication skills
  • You have an open mind and willing to learn from your colleagues

Context of the position

This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings.
